“Figuring out development mode and creating development mode” is one of the significant instructions addressed by Chairman Hu on NPC & CPPCC 2010. China is the largest W-Mo-V resources country and producer around the world. In recent years, bolstered by booming development of iron-steel and cemented carbide industries, China has become the world’s largest consumer of W-Mo-V.
In the future, how to go forward shoulder by shoulder with international market and how to supply better service for global steel and carbide cemented industries is a pretty important topic for Chinese W-Mo-V enterprises, especially after experiencing the challenge brought by the global financial crisis.
How about the global market structure of W-Mo-V products? How about the consumption prospects of W-Mo-V products? How to improve technology to support the creation for development pattern?
All the questions mentioned above will be discussed on 2010 China International Tungsten & Molybdenum &Vanadium Forum to be held in Beijing Friendship Hotel on June 27-30. The forum will be committed to show the policy direction, consumption prospects and technology development of W-Mo-V industry for all the participants.
Meanwhile, an International Seminar on the Application of Mo in Steels, held by the International Molybdenum Association and Central Iron & Steel Research Institute of China on June 28 will focus on how alloying with molybdenum enhances steel’s performance in applications whilst conserving resources and reducing environment impact. This technical seminar will examine the metallurgy behind the beneficial properties that molybdenum imparts in different steels. |
